The research portal CORRECTIV has not only been known since its revelations about the Panama Papers or the Potsdamer Geheimtreffen. With investigative journalism and regular fact checks, it has been an important part of the German-speaking media landscape for many years.

We have developed a web portal including CMS for CORRECTIV. Since the center is financed exclusively through donations, it was also necessary to program and connect an individual donation form and a member portal.

New Portal – Structured and Flexible

The entire technical development of the portal – both frontend and backend – was in our hands. Since the content is entered by various authors, the template should be as structured as possible without restricting flexibility. With the WordPress system we have customized, these special content maintenance requirements are now optimally met.

Salesforce for Donations and Members Area

An essential part of the project is collecting and managing monetary donations. For this purpose, we have implemented an individually developed donation form that is linked to the Findock app via a Salesforce API.

We also built the member area for managing customer and donation data in Salesforce. We chose the JavaScript web framework VueJS for the frontend and the PHP web framework Laravel for the backend.
