In order to allow maximum scope for editorial content, we deliberately designed the user interface to be minimalist. At the same time, it was possible to ensure a high level of recognition by adopting defining elements from the printed magazine.

Together with the client, the decision was made to use WordPress as the content management system. Since the requirements are high, both graphically and technically, we then developed a completely new theme. In addition, due to the high volume of visitors, it was essential to optimize the loading times of the pages.

The publisher’s strategic goals required special attention to be paid to the smooth integration of advertisements into the basic layout during the redesign process.

In addition, a high number of people access the site via social media – our particular focus was on the responsiveness of the site.

Even after the relaunch of the web portal, we are still in charge of technical support for the site to this day.
